On the lower floor, there are the working areas of the lecturers and research assistants, the staff room, the book and periodicals warehouse and the rare book room.

In our library, a list of special topics is used, based on the Library of Congress classification system. According to the order in which the book arrives at the library, it is systematically classified in its own subject/topic in the form of a semi-open shelf. There are 61 domestic and 83 foreign periodicals with ongoing subscriptions. There are around 100,000 domestic and foreign books. Our library use “SirsiDynix Symphony Integrated Library Automation” system. With the system's International MARC format feature, all library records can be found in this multi-user and internet compatible library program that allows simple, medium, advanced data entry and searching in an unlimited area within the framework of Anglo-American Cataloging Rules II. All library operations (registration, lending, warning, statistics, counting, etc.) are carried out online.
