Aim of the Centre:

To carry out research and practice in the fields of Criminal Law, Criminology and other crime and criminal sciences and to carry out all kinds of activities for the development of these sciences. According to the results of the research, to carry out all kinds of activities for the development of criminal law, the execution of penalties, the implementation of security measures, the prevention of crime, the legislation on these issues in Turkey and in foreign countries and to determine the principles of an appropriate crime and punishment policy arising from the conditions of the country, especially for the fight against crime, to conduct research in the field of state institutions dealing with and combating crime and crime.

Aim of the Centre:

Founded in 1973, IAHUAM's aim is to analyse and conduct research and studies in the field of European Law and the legal studies related to the European Union and the European Union studies that have emerged around the present European Union (EU). In order to achieve this aim, IAHUAM organises seminars, conferences, colloquiums and panels, publishes on these subjects and establishes commissions for research. Creating an archive and library on the subjects it deals with constitutes an important part of its activities. IAHUAM is the first documentation centre in Turkey to receive and systematise documents, periodicals, official newspapers, court decisions and compilations, research and investigation

reports from the relevant units of the EU and to be recognised by the EU's authorised publishing and distribution institutions.
